Inactive ingredients: colloidal silicone dioxide, croscarmellose sodium, hypromellose, iron oxide blends, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, polyethylene glycol, povidone, pregelatinized starch, titanium dioxide.

Allegra is an antihistamine which used for treating seasonal allergy symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, itchy throat, or itchy, watery eyes. This medication works by counting the reactions which your body has to naturally occur chemical histamines, this is produced when your body has an allergic reaction. Also, Allegra is used for treating skin itching and hives caused by chronic idiopathic urticaria in people of different ages.

The recommended dose of ALLEGRA tablets is 60 mg twice daily or 180 mg once daily with water.
The usual dose is one 180 mg tablet with water once a day; do not take more than 1 tablet in 24 hours.

Missed Dose - If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is near the time of the next dose, skip the missed dose. Take your next dose at the regular time. Do not double the dose to catch up.

If you are taking the over-the-counter product to self-treat, read all directions on the product package before taking this medication, usual dose is one 180 mg tablet with water once a day. It is recommended to have Allegra only with water (a full glass of water) and not with any other liquid.
